750mA SuperSmart Battery Tender - US is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 43.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! I have 2017 Sportster 1200 custom. The battery was almost empty. Plugged in and after 12 hours (6pm-6am) the battery was fully charged.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy it, use it regularly This came with my bike. If I'm not planning on riding for a couple days or longer, I'll just keep the battery plugged in. It's a cheap way to ensure you're not stuck prematurely buying another battery. The colored light display lets you know what the status is with the battery. Does what it needs to do, period.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from so far so good I purchased this charger after I bought my 2015 FLHTK. My battery was a little slow until I started using this charger. The original battery seems to be doing fine. The charging cable was already installed on my bike.

    Q & A

Can I use this on an AGM battery?

I own a Sportster and it uses an AGM battery, will this damage the battery in any way or is it safe to use?
    Asked by: Jimmyjames72x
Pretty much since model year 2000, all Harley-Davidsons come standard with AGM batteries. Any time you are not riding plug it in

My Bike shocks the hell out of me when i use this charger. Why

    Can you help.
    Asked by: jerome
It should not. You need to hook up the tender when you are not riding the bike and connect it after it is shut down, you have dismounted the bike. If you are standing on the ground and the tender is still hooked up and you touch the bike and it shocks you, then you need to check and see if both the positive and negative leads on the tender harness were hooked up properly.

Can I use an extension chord with this charger? My outside outlet is out of commission at the moment.

    Asked by: Sporty
I assume you are referring to a 110VAC extension cord versus an output extension cord going to your motorcycle. The current draw on this tender should not exceed the max current rating for a UL approved 14-2 or 12-2 outdoor extension cable. You probably want to limit the length of the extension cable to no more than 50 feet. Keep in mind that this tender is not waterproof. Good luck!

Does this charger work with a lithium ion battery?

    Asked by: Drobertob
I would get a charger that is specifically rated to charge your Lithium ion battery. They are little more expensive but is the right tool for your application. Lot's of folks just un hook a terminal over the winter and when it's time for spring up literary just wake up the battery with a quick electrical load, lights, starter ect.., You do not want your voltage to drop below 11 volts do do this type battery sometimes cant recover like lead acid.

    SuperSmart Battery Tender

The tender constantly blinks green, even when plugged into the wall but not connected to the Bike. It constantly blinks green when connected to the bike as well. I also recently had a 1 year old battery go dead even though connected to the tender. Is the tender bad?
    Asked by: GGerjel
Can you conduct a load test on your battery? To make sure your battery is fine, the green flashing light does indicate that the battery is greater than 80% charged. If you get an alternating amber & green light this indicates the battery could be sulfated. You can test the charger also to ensure it is putting out @ least 1.25 A. Inspect the terminal connection on your battery going to the charger.
