800mA Waterproof Battery Tender is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I haven't had an issue with this. Only reason for buying this second one was because the other one was hit by lightning. I had that one for 3 yrs. Same exact one. Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product I have three HD battery tenders, wanted one for outdoors (weather proof). This is just the ticket. I use them on other items: mowers, tiller, etc. They are multi purpose and are great for cold winter months when batteries are most vulnerable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect battery tender I previously had the cheaper version of HD's battery tender and used it with my old bike. I decided to splurge a little and get the better waterproof one. You never know when you'll accidentally spill something on the area you keep your tender, or when humidity will creep in and ruin the electronics. There's really nothing spectacular about it, but it definitely keeps the battery charged. It appears to be very well made, has two holes for screws so it can be mounted in any orientation, and has plenty of cord for those who park their bike a little ways away from the power outlet. My RGS came with the tender harness already installed, so all I had to do was plug in the tender and plug it into the bike. I plug my bike into this tender whenever I'm not riding it. I look forward to many years of use from this item and many years of life from my battery.

Would it damage the charger to disconnect it from the bike/battery but leave it connected to a/c power?

My son constantly disconnects my tender from my bike but does not disconnect the power cord from the wall receptacle and I' concerned it could damage the charger/tender?
    Asked by: pa195400
Hello pa195400 Leaving the tender on will not hurt the battery. I recommend the tenders when bikes will be left for extended times.

Is this battery charger safe with Canbus electrics

My 2014 883 Iron has a Canbus electric system, will this charger be safe to use while the battery is attached to the bike without affecting the bikes electric systems?
    Asked by: QBall
It has been flawless on my 2015 heritage softtail. I have canbus also and the trickle charger connection came on my bike from the factory. This charger has worked awesome for me. I connect this exact charger to my ride while the battery is in the bike (that's how it's made). The instructions say to not turn on the ignition switch while the battery charger is connected, so when it's charging/connected I lock my ignition so it won't accidentally get turned on. I also drape the power cord over my seat so as to not forget to unplug before taking off. LOL. It's a very good charger & has an awesome float feature so as to not overcharge.
