Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect fit , looks great This is a nice looking and functioning removable sissy bar. Well made beautiful chrome finish, snaps right into place and is strong. in minutes I can swap out with the tour pack on my 13 Ultraclassic. With the tour pack off its like riding a different motorcycle!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Airwing Sissy Bar Nice looking, chrome is good but if you want to add the optional light, the wire is almost impossible to snake down the tube frame. I thought other reviewers where maybe less mechanical but not so. I'm a real mechanical guy and I have not been able to accomplish it yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Chrome Finish Fit nice to the four-point docking hardware without problem and look is an eye catcher. I bought this sissy bar to hold the Harley rolling touring bag luggage for some long duration cruising.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only one option for crappy backrest pad This sissy bar is the most stylish available for the 2016 HD touring bikes. That's the only positive. However it only has one option for a backrest pad (Air Wing Sissy Bar Backrest Pad P/N 52300302). The backrest pad does not have enough padding and sits very low on the sissy bar making it very uncomfortable for the passenger. I spent $360 on this sissy bar and backrest pad but had to go buy a completely different setup to get a backrest pad that has some padding and is comfortable for the old lady. I would not recommend this product until HD offers some different options for backrest pads that fit this sissy bar.

    Q & A

Do you have to flip right shock?

I have read that you have to flip the right shock or it is near impossible to get sissy bars on the 14 and newer SGs. Is this the case with this one?
    Asked by: CoryS
Hey again CoryS, There is no mention in the I Sheet for the 4-Point Docking Hardware that the shock would have to be flipped. If you find yourself having trouble with the install, give your local dealer a call for assistance.

Can the locking latch be used on the air wing sissy bar upright??

    Asked by: Wmvil
No it will not. Because the lower portion of the uprights are fatter than normal sissy bars, they get in the way for proper rotation of the locking latch. I found this out the hard way :)

What backrest pad can you use with this upright?

Is there only one pad that can be used with this upright?
    Asked by: Brannon
Hi Brannon, Excellent question. Considering there is only one option, we should've put this in the description and I do apologize about that. The pad part number is: 52300302. Please keep in mind that the LED light is not included. The light part numbers are: 68000076 (red) or 68000077 (smoked lens). Hope this helps and let us know if you have any additional questions!
