Auxiliary Power Switch Kit - Fairing Mount is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from aux wiring kit review The directions that come with the kit suck. I had to read a few HD forums to fully understand the installation. The kit comes with two switched circuits. One is relayed the other is not. Considering you can buy a 12v relay on amazon for a few bucks... HD should have just made both circuits relayed. Indeed, the accompanying text even tells you how to hook up a second relay (not included) There is also no option for a push button switch. Both circuits are tied to the ignition switch, which is what I wanted. But, the kit provides 25A line that is live when the ignition is off. I shorted this out and blew the fuse. Then, as there is no documentation, I had to hunt around for the fuse. The pig tales are just long enough to tuck all the wiring changes beneath the seat, including relays, etc. Once installed, the kit provides what it is suppose to. Integrated control of two accessory circuits. My biggest complaint was useless or missing documentation. My second complaint is that it really should include the second relay. I have to recommend this product, because there is no other option. It only gets three stars because of issues outlined above.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy fix I had a set of Ward's fans installed on my trike when they had it apart to put handlebars on. Had them install these switches to turn fans on/off with, so it would be easy to do while underway. They work great, and I still have a blank switch left if I install something else later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Switch Kit Easy install. Allows for the addition of parade lights switch without drilling holes or hard to get to switches.

    Q & A

To power this switch, do you splice in a wire to run under the gas tank to reach the left side cover?

From looking at the harness, it looks too short to reach the left side cover. And the usually complete instructions, do not mention removing the gas tank if in fact the harness needs to reach the left side cover

What about the other switches bank on the right side?

This kit fills out all of the switches slots on the left side of the ignition. But, what about the switches bank of 3 slots on the right - is there a kit to utilize those slots too?

Nothin' for the right side as of yet, but you never know what our P&A Team will come up with down the line.
