Billet Headlamp Shell is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Impossible to Replace Headlamp without Chrome Damage Once this headlight is installed, changing the headlamp or bulb is next to impossible without damaging the chrome housing. Most billet headlight housings have a ring that screws and unscrews - or a set screw. This one is tension set. Once in, you cannot remove without shims, small and large screwdrivers and damage to chrome. I followed the manual exactly. Couldn't remove it so took it to a shop and they couldn't get it off without removing chrome. They ended up not doing it. Just take a look at the manual here online and it will show you how to tape pennies into spaces as shims to open! Very frustrated that my new light has to be damaged to be repaired. I do not recommend this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do not waste your money This headlamp was new on a bike I bought used. Difficult to remove and if headlamp fails even more so if you do not have the right tools. Add to the fact that you have to be careful with chrome and this bucket is a let down. Looks great but expensive to replace damaged chrome front.

    Q & A

If the daymaker led does not fit in this shell, what lights do fit?

    Asked by: Swagam7
Hi Swagam7, Okay! The Billet Headlamp Shell is NOT compatible with the Daymaker LED headlamp. H-D does not have a "replacement" kit for the Billet Headlamp Shell (67704-03). Please see the OE component of this headlamp. Thanks!

Yep, this shell houses a 5 3/4" headlamp so the Daymaker will work.
