It was better then what I had
So the standard foot control on the Sportster low I didn't care for it and wanted more of the cruiser style. Since moving them forward I loved riding the bike now. Easy to install and everything went on fine.

Clevis does not work with stock floor boards or other Harley pegs/floorboards
I purchased this kit and installed it on a 2014 XL1200T. The stock floor boards will not work with the clevises supplied in the kit until they are modified. Look at the picture of the parts in the kit, look closely at the clevises supplied and see that one side of the clevis is longer than the other. This longer side prevents the floorboard from being fully inserted into the clevis which prevents the clevis pin from being inserted. I went to the Harley shop and the parts department had no idea why the clevis was designed as supplied. We also tried other Harley floorboards and pegs and none of them would work either. The clevises only work with the pegs supplied on the XL1200 custom model which already has the forward controls installed from the factory. Those pegs have an offset in the stem which allows them to work. Any standard foot rest will not work. I ended up taking the clevises to a custom shop and had the longer side grinded down so both sides were even. Now I am able to use the stock floorboards or any other floorboard/pegs that Harley had in the store. This is very disappointing since it is listed as fitting the 1200T and even the parts department could not help me. The rest of the install went smoothly and all other parts fit fine. It's only the floorboards that will give you trouble. Harley needs to change the clevises in the kit so this is not a problem.

Everything fit my 2014 Harley Sportster Super low but the clevis pins that came with the forward control kit would not allow me to use my original foot pegs. Had to swap with the rear and use my original right side clevis pin on the left shift side and buy another clevis pin for the right side because the pin that has the retaining clip was not long enough. I now have two clevis pins that came with the forward control kit that I will neveruse they are for the off set foot pegs. there's About $80.00 that I could have saved Not buying the kit, If could have bought just the parts I actually would have needed.
This is my first Harley and it seems when ever I want to add a accessory on it. there always something else I would need to install it.
Now I see why when ever someone mentions. HD its $$$$$$$$$$$$
