Chrome Rear Saddlebag Guards is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have protection I picked these up after dropping my bike on some gravel. The only damage to the bike was the bottom front edge of the right side bag. I decided I wasn't going to take that chance ever again. These bars install quickly, might have taken an hour tops. Took as long to strip off the seats, bags, side covers, and bag supports as it did to put on the new bars. These are sturdy, well finished, and a perfect fit. Well worth the money and I have no doubt that they will keep my bags form taking any damage if I put my bike down. Additionally, it will hold the bike a little higher and give a great place for the hand away from the handlebar when lifting the bike. Fantastic purchase. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad I did it I got these to protect the bags on my black quartz.RGS. In addition to the protection they may provide, they really look great against the black in an area of the bike is that is very dark and un-accented. Wasn't sure if it was going to wreck the clean lines, but it doesn't. A little added protection and accent. What more could I ask for?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Torque Settng I purchased and installed the Saddlebag Guards on my 2015 Road Glide. I was puzzled by the torque specifications. One of the spec's would have me tighten a bolt to the point that the guard was crushed. Maybe it's me not understanding the spec. On another note I understand the guards were installed on the finished motorcycle and not an after mfg add on. Why change?

      Q & A

Do I need an extra part mount the antenna?

If so what is the part number?
      Asked by: RidingFor50Years

Will these fit with the extended saddlebags?

      Asked by: AFXray
Hey AFXray, The length of the saddlebag guards are in line with the length of the standard bags. Due to the bend that wraps around the bottom of the stock hard bags, they won't clear the extra length on the stretched bags.

I dont see a place to hookup the exhaust mounts on the saddlebag guards

      Asked by: ronnie
Hey ronnie, 5. Align the holes in the saddlebag guard short tube and saddlebag support tube, and insert the 1/4-20 x 1-1/4 in (32 mm) long hex socket head screw through the hole. Install the locknut onto the screw threads, but do not fully tighten. 6. Loosely assemble the muffler to the saddlebag support rail with the 5/16-18 x 1/2 in (13 mm) long flanged hex head screws and lockwashers, rubber mount and bracket removed earlier.

What is the diameter of these guards? I'm wanting to mount a passenger drink holder to them.
