Chrome Tie-Down Brackets is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I've had these on my last 4 Harley's (2 touring & 2 softails) and they are a great product. For my 2015 SGS, I did as others have said and just installed them behind the studs and re-used the acorn nuts. I agree they should come with chrome hardware in lieu of installing this way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chrome Tie-Down Brackets I just installed Harley-Davidson's Chrome Tie-Down Brackets on my 2016 Ultra Limited. Easy to install, although an extra set of hands would have been nice for holding the turn-signals and brackets while threading the new bolts. As others have said, it would have been nice to see chrome bolts and washers, and I may replace the ones from the kit with chrome ones at a later date. Tie-Down brackets will be nice for securing my bike without having to use the handlebars. I am also going to mount some eye-bolts to my front wheel chock so I can secure my bike to the wheel chock when working on it. Nice addition to my bike . . . to bad it wasn't standard issue!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hardware Nuts that were removed were Chromed. New Bolts are zinc. New bolts new to be Chromed or SST

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent fit! Tie downs were easy to install, the bolt's that come with it are zinc plated, the dealer had chrome plated bolt's and washers (added cost but worth it).

    Q & A

I have the Fort Mounted Wind Deflectors, will these fit with deflectors still on the bike

Will I have to remove the lower Fork Wind Deflectors to make these fit. If they work together what sequence should they go on?

Why does the drop down fitment list road glide?

I ordered these because the drop down fitment said they would work with a 2015 road glide. What can I use for my bike to tie it down?
    Asked by: sledstorm
Hi Sledstorm, We apologize for any confusion this may have caused, it will be corrected shortly. You can use the following items to tie down your 2015 Road Glide: P/N 93100017: Harley-Davidson Fleece Soft Hooks P/N 94705-10: Harley-Davidson Soft Hooks P/N 94650-98: HOG Ties Soft Hooks Thank you for your question.

    Re-using original studs and acorn

I have a 2014 Ultra, can you re-use the studs that are currently there? I did and now concerned the original bolts are not hardened, using them I can re-use the chrome acorn nuts for the light bracket I removed the stud and placed the tie down bracket on and replaced the stud and than added the light bar and then the acorn studs.

Will the Chrome tie -down brackets fit a 2015 Road Glide Special?

    Asked by: Chuck24
Hi Chuck24, Unfortunately, no, these Chrome Tie-Down Brackets will not fit on a 2015 FLTRXS. The fitment statement indicates that this kit fits '14-later Touring models (except Road Glide® and Road King®), and it does not fit Trike models. Thank you for your question.
