Rated 5 out of 5 by from Notches Unknown I was used to my road glide dual HD daymaker head light. I upgraded to a daymaker on my new street glide special but was not impressed with the amount of light from the single bulb. Had the dealer install these lights on my street gilde and BAM !! The light was kicked up Notches unknown !! I use the fog lights day and night and highly recommend these to anyone else. Hopefully HD will have an optional dark lense in the future because I would have preferred the fog lights to match my dark daymaker but not a deal breaker.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love the lamps except for the moisture I think they are great lamps if it wasn't for the moisture issues! Since installing them earlier this year I noticed moisture in one of them in June, the dealer replaced under warranty. I just noticed today that the one that was replaced actually has a pool of water in it.....throwing it in the dealers lap to see what they have to say.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright lights These highway driving lights are great. Except when cornering they are pointing the direction of bike not the headlight.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor instructions and I was sold used parts First of all the instructions that comes with the lights are insufficient. On top of that you have to order four different part numbers to make up the kit. And the instruction for three out of the four kits are very poor. And the dealer gave me used lights! How can that happen? I assume they took a return from someone and did not check the part. One of the lights had a significant amount of locktite all over it and the other had the threads STRIPED out. (Completely stripped) Needles to say I will never trust that a part I buy at the dealer is new.

Install Daymaker Reflector Led Fog Lamps

I have a FLTRUSE, 2016 CVO Road Glide Ultra, and want to install the Fog Lamps (#68000090) to the fairing with the #68000183 mounting bracket which also holds the turn lights. My Dealer Parts departs guy insist I only need the Lamp and the Bracket. I believe I also need a wire harness and a Aux switch, as I do want to be able to turn the Lamps off in the day time. The Bike is stock with 6 slots for for Aux switches, 3 on each side and comes stock with 2 switches on the far right used for the electronic on and one for the electronic off, for the tour pax and saddle bags. I have used the 2 left slots on the left side for Aux front and rear Red & Blue police type lights (I escort military funerals). I wish to add a switch for the Fog Lamps to the remaining third slot in the right side. Has anyone been there/done that? Can anyone confirm the Part Numbers required to complete the install? Thank you!

    Aux Switch for Fog Light

I have a 2016 Road Glide Special and want to add these to my fairing. Understand the fog lamp, bracket and wire harness purchase. Can a on/off switch be added to the blank spaces already on the bike?
    Asked by: 2015switchbackCT
Yes - that is what my dealership did when they installed them for me. They put a button in the left most slot in my auxiliary button bank.

    Water in my Fog Lamps.

I have the Day Maker Reflector LED Fog Lamps on my 2015 FLHTK. Either a washing or riding in the rain has lead to water getting into the left light, and it is not draining. Any suggestions?

Fairing Mounted - 2015 Road Glide Special

I followed all the installation details in the lighting / mounting kit. My bike is not equipped with an auxiliary switch - according to the kit - I shouldn't need one, the lights are direct wired as noted in the instructions! Lights do not work, and there is no power to the 4th pin in the connector (front turn signals). Lights do not work - according to the P&A catalog - they're a direct plug in. Please let me know what the instructions don't tell us - other than go to the dealer, check the P&A catalog etc.

Went through the same problems on 2016 road Glide Fairing mount. You will need 69201109 (Harness) and 71400105 (Aux Pwr Sw). Plug the wire harness from 71400105 kit under the left side panel to the grey connector that is mounted horizontal. Next step is to mount the Aux switch to the dash. Before doing that, I relocated the far right switch to the far left position. The far left position is for the fog light switch and I did not want to buy another switch, I will not be adding more than 1 additional auxiliary to be switched. You can purchase the button that displays the fog light emblem and add it before mounting the switches. Had mine out 3 times before figuring this out. Works well and you will not have to splice any wires, as it is pre wired from the factory. It took me 6 trips to the dealer to get this info with many questions. After I received all the correct answers, it is actually an easy install.
