Quick-Release Passenger Pillion is rated 1.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from looks good out of the box! Does NOT fit the detachable solo rack. I guess HD decided you only get one detachable on the back of the bike!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not comfortable.. Passengers complain on short rides. It does lock securely to the rack. If I did it over I would get a standard pillion or removable rack/sissy bar set up.

    Q & A

    Luggage Rack

Luggage rack that this attaches too says only 25 lbs max? How does this seat work with the luggage to carry the weight of a rider...
    Asked by: Bill51

Weight rating - plz be specific

An earlier question asked about weight rating, but the answer wasn't clear to me. I like the idea of a removable pillion but the suction cup junk out there seems like a bad idea. Are you saying that the rack sold separately has a 25 pound weight rating because of how the weight is distributed, whereas using this removable pillion with a passenger will distribute the weight differently (butt upward is above the seat and rack, legs downward are below the seat and rack), and therefore the rack will not fail under the load of a passenger... is this correct?
    Asked by: Wolf110

    Weight rating

The rack that this attaches to has a maximum weight rating of 25lbs. The seat itself has no listed weight rating. Would this be suitable to ride 2 up with my 125lb wife?
    Asked by: Andy02
Hello Andy02, The short answer is Yes, your wife can ride on the back seat. What you are dealing with there is the GVWR rating(per your owners manual) which has nothing to do with that rack rating at 25#’s. They do not want more than 25#’s on that rack since it could begin to affect the vehicle handling. Thank You!
