      Q & A

What is the recommended tire pressure?

      Asked by: Merle

      Treadwear

Ive hot 13,000 miles on my bike, ive noticed some uneven treadwear on my front tire where the tread has feathering going from side to side as the tire is rotated. I went to one dealer wondering if the wheel was out of balance and they said thats how these specific tires wear but recently when my bike was serviced at another dealer they say it needs to be replaced. Who do i believe?
      Asked by: Tomzombie6
Hello Tomzombie6, The following affects the tread wear, road surfaces, air pressures, vehicle loads, riding style ( faster making lefts vs the right turns) scrubs the tire. I myself find that's happened to my tire's. if the neck bearing adjustment loose, vehicle modifications play a part as well Hope this helps
