Rated 5 out of 5 by from They look good on my bike. They fit great on my bike, after I bent the cotter pin a little to get that side completely over the nut. I have a 2014 trike & unless I read the instructions wrong, I was supposed to put the allen screw in the hole farthest from the opening. This put the allen screw almost in the slot of the nut, so I used the allen screw holes closer to the openings. Now I need the chrome spacers, to make it look even better, but I am not finding them at the local dealer. I like the shopping online & no shipping charges if I pick them up at the local dealer. There was some confusion however at the dealership when the package arrived. It took them an extra day to determine the order was mine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HEAVY METAL AND SHARP LOOKING! These are very easy to install and you do need to pay attention to the hole that the set screw fits into and which length screw goes on which end of the axle. It's easy to turn the set screw too far and I suggest that once it's past the edge of the hole, stop and check to make sure it is immobile. If so do not turn any further or you will drive the screw all the way through the axle cover. These look great and you'll be surprised at the heft of these covers. Highly recommended!

    Q & A

My front axle nut cover will not fit snugg over the Cotter pin. What am I doing wrong?

    Asked by: fenway01
Hi Fenway01, I would first suggest making sure you have the right Front Axle Covers. If so, make sure the cover is over the axle nut flat and correctly. Next, tighten the screw securely with the hex wrench. Don't forget to use the cotter pins to secure the ends of the axle. When all options are exhausted--please see a local dealer for assistance. Thanks!
