Instructions were a bit inaccurate and vague
Seems like it would be an easy job. If you like removing your tank and learning now to pry wires out of Harley connectors, it's a fun mod. Also, have a jack handy or a proper bike lift. The brackets are actually held on by bolts that hold the forks so when you loosen them up, the forks will move. And, of course, you need a torque wrench to tighten everything back up.
The parts themselves are awesome. They are exactly like the parts you remove except the notch is gone. If you have a grinder, you can modify your current parts instead of buying these but these are inexpensive enough that they seem worth it.

Easy and looks great
I installed these on my 2014 Forty-Eight after I put on a non H.D. (but still high quality) windscreen. The non H.D. windscreen I bought came with adapter spacers to relocate the stock turn signals but they made the turn signals stick out so I had a 1/4" gap between the lower tree and the turn signal mount: It looked bad.
These relocation mounts are perfect for relocating the turn signals to the lower tree. The gap between the tree and the turn signal mounts is tiny. They look great, are pretty reasonably priced, and are easy to install.
