Hammock Rider/Passenger Seat is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from HDRoadKing Love the seat!!!!!! Much better than stock and allows more time for riding. Wife is much happier as well. May cost a bit more than most want to pay but it's well worth being comfortable. At 6 ft 3 inches allows better positioning while riding and didn't change how my windshield on the fairing sits enough to want to swap it out as well. Definitely recommend to at least try this seat out if you're looking for a new one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Put the OEM seat back on after one ride. For $650 (including tax) I expected a substantial increase in comfort from this "hammock" seat. The only difference I found was that the extra padding in this seat made it warmer (not good here in August heat) as it did not seem to breathe well. Maybe I'll try it again when it gets much cooler.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Done the homework I traded my Softail knowing the ride on the new Road Glide wasn't going to be as good. I had Sundowner on the Softail from the start and loved it. I did the demo program and tried the Sundowner on my 2015 FLTRXS and didn't even go 5 miles and knew it wasn't going to do it. I actually waited till last to try the Hammock. I should have tried it first LOL. It took out all the little bumps on cracks between the concrete slabs and just felt right. It may be a little more expensive but it is also a perfect example of "you get what you pay for" I would recommend anyone looking for a seat for their bagger to try this. I am sure you will be happy. Sure made me happy. I really do all kinds of riding local with and without passenger and take a trip every year that is 5000 miles plus. So believe me I know a good seat when I sit on one ..........................................

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is THE seat ! This is a game changer. The difference in comfort vs stock seat is not subtle. It is dramatic. Especially for the passenger. SGS is an expensive bike and should be fitted with this seat as OEM. Shame it is not, because it is a must. Probably the most useful addition. Warning: your passenger will not get off the bike. Will make you ride on and on.

    Will this fit my bike

I have a 2017 roadglide ultra with the adjustable rider back rest and wanted to be sure this would be a fit before I order.

    Are Harley original seats waterproof?

I have a road glide ultra 2016 which i owned sonce feb 2016, the seat now started to observe water! When i sit on it then some water leaks out to my pants (after a wash or rain) for 2 to 3 days Pls advise Note: i went to the dealership here in Dubai and they are trying to convince me its normal while my brain refuses to believe that a bike this expensive will not be like that after just a year. Regards

I have a 2016 Road King. I am confused about the difference between this seat and the 52000176. What would be the benefit from one to the other? Thank

    Asked by: TSP101
I had the same question. Turns out the two Part numbers are two different saddles. The 03A sits the rider back and up an inch from stock, the 176 moves me forward an inch and up 2. The 03A is slightly longer and subtly a different shape. I ordered the 03A over the 176 for my 2017 FLHR as at 6'2" I appreciate the extra leg room. I think it looks better than the squarer and higher profile 176 too.

Has Harley resolved the adjustable rider backrest fitment issue?

I saw in some reviews that the adjustable rider backrest does not fit well with this seat, in particular with 2014 Road King models. Has this fitment issue been resolved? I'm contemplating buying the Hammack Rider/Passenger Seat and the adjustable backrest.

As of 21 September 2017 no, but what I did was use an angle grinder and just shim the edge of the plastic lug to provide clearance. It's just the quick release black plastic lug that touches, and it only just touches the rear of the seat so it's an easy mod to fix this problem.
