Black Rubber Heated Hand Grips is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable I had the Willie G heated grips on my Road King although they looked great, I always had hand fatigue, the skull was right in the place where it would put pressure on my inside thumb while pulling in the clutch. Living in the north east, I can say, some days your shifting more than your riding it seems. Anyway, I put these on my new RGU and these are a whole lot better, the grip is fatter and I never thought I would appreciate the plain round feel as much as I do. There are no pressure points. Also, riding in 35 degrees with single layer leather gloves was plenty. No need for winter gloves here, in fact I cant keep these on more than 2 or its just to damn hot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love warm hands I am a long distance rider and ride in all weather except ice or snow on the road. Put these on my 2016 Street Glide Special and after 22,000 miles I can definitely say they are worth every penny of the invest. Just bought a 2017 Street Glide Special and putting the same ones on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I never do reviews but was hoping to provide useful feedback for others. I bought these from my local dealer and installed them myself on my 2013 Street Glide. They are plug and play. Run the wire down the clutch side handlebar and connect to pre-existing power. Connect the other wire to the pre-wired connection for brake side. Connect small 2 prong connection in throttle sensor and you are done. This is an easy DIY. Took me maybe 1 hour. It was 45 this morning. I had decent gloves on and only had them at 3 and my hands were cooking. Plenty of heat. I would not hesitate to install these yourself and would do it ASAP if you ride in colder weather. Dealer told me the "plain" grips seem to have a better life span so I went with those vs a pattern or chrome version.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Satisfied I had these installed right around the time I purchased my bike new. They do the job, although, even with these and reasonable gauntlets, the lowest outside temperature I can endure for 45 minutes is about 30 degrees.

    2009 Road Glide

I have a 2009 Road Glide that has drive by wire throttle and I want to know if I can put heated grips on it and what parts and grips I can use. Kind Regards Nick
    Asked by: crashcalia
Hi crashcalia, Yes, you can install heated grips as long as you did not convert it to internally wired handlebars or as long as it is not the CVO Road Glide. Pay close attention to the fitment guide under the FITMENT tab. For instance, this one says: Fits ’08-later Touring and Trike models (except CVO™). ’08-’09 models require separate purchase of jumper harness P/N 70415-08A, connector P/N 72902-01BK and terminal pin P/N 72990-01 (qty 2). See instruction sheet for details. Not for use with internally wired handlebars. There are a few heated grips out there that does not require you to buy all the additional connectors. Easiest way to look for heated grips is to look at the catalog on page 580. If you do not have the catalog, here is a link to view it online: Again, please make sure to read the fitment on the page to determine which part number you need. If you have any questions don't hesitate to email or call us for help. Our number is 800-258-2464 option 3. Hope this helps!
