    Description

    A A A

A great addition to a high-performance motor, or for the rider that tours in extreme temperature conditions, the Screamin' Eagle® cast-aluminum oil pan is designed to increase the oil capacity by 1.5 quarts over the Original Equipment pan. Increased capacity means the oil cycles through the engine less frequently and the oil can remain in the pan for a longer period of time.

    • Cast-in internal baffles manage the flow to the oil pickup, and keep the hot oil exposed to the heat-conducting ribbed aluminum sump
    • Kit includes cast aluminum oil pan and pan gasket

High Capacity Oil Pan is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2013 Road King CVO w/120R motor Love the oil pan. Added 1.5 quarts of oil and dropped my oil temperature 10-12 degrees. Had the dealer install only charged 2 hours labor. I am very happy with this oil pan. I am running a 120 R motor so my bike ran hotter than normal to the point I was having to rest my right leg on top of the lower fairing during long rides in the summer. Now i can really tell a difference. It will also help the engine last longer I suspect. The new cycles it come standard with this oil pan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A "Must Have" for performance built Twin Cam Harley Davidson Projects I had my High Capacity Oil Pan installed after a complete StageIV engine upgrade on my 2014 FLHXS May 2015. The added 1.5 quart of added oil aides in the dissipation of heat and added lubrication for an enhanced engine. I have put 7000 miles on this setup without heating or mechanical issues to this day. Note that the new 2017 FLHX Milwaukee 8 model comes with a standard 5.2 quart oil capacity as opposed to the standard 4.0 capacity of the 2014 model. If you have that competitive spirit and still enjoy your twin cams, this is an obvious needed part for any Rushmore "Enhanced" Harley to stay competitive and relevant with the new Milwaukee Eight Engines. The new pan is also easier for oil changes if you are a DIY for fluid changes. I would recommend the pan to be installed by the dealership.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bike runs Cooler I have a 2015 Road Glide Special and on average in hot weather it runs 7-9 degrees cooler than buddies bikes If my buddys temp is at 220 i'll be at 213 etc.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from CONFLICT IN FITMENT The oil pan while a great addition, will in fact make the installation of your oil temperature gauge probe impossible on the Touring bikes.

    Q & A

Does this extend below frame tubes?

Does this pan extend below the bottom frame tubes on a 2009 FLHRC? I use a bike lift with twin parallel skids that lift the bike from the side by sliding under the frame rails.

Why will this not fit the 2014 or 2015 Tri-Glide?

    Link still doesn't work

I'd prefer an almost right I spec. rather than nothing at all. It must be major changes, since it takes more than two months. How come?
    Asked by: BentWitte

Is this high capacity oil pan compatible with the Oil Bud under frame oil cooler?

    Link does not work

The link for the install instructions is where I can find them, but the link does not work. All I get is IE cannot open the page. Even the link you provided does not work either. See what you can do and thank you very much for your time. Mark

So to make sure that we are giving our fellow riders the most up to date info, occasionally we have to update our I Sheets. That's why you're getting a "dead" page. Sorry for the hassle but we should have the new one up soon.
