Layback LED Tail Lamp is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Layback LED Tail Lamp I have a 2013 Fatboy Lo which engine and metal are satin finish and black. There is no chrome on my bike. This tail lamp looks great on my bike plus the added safety factor that I can be seen better from behind when I apply my brakes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from lens broke Dealer installed, light is bright. Only issue is lens broke on a 200 nile ride. I think the tech used to much torque. Only complaint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect taillight for FLTRU I bought this light for my 2017 Road Glide Ultra. And contrary to the fitment guidance H-D gives on this website, the light fits and works perfectly. Very good quality and easy installation. I was going back and forth between the H-D LED taillight and the Custom Dynamics LED taillight. I chose the H-D because I wanted the bulb pattern to match the lights on the TourPak, which this light does exactly. LED lighting provides a significant increase in visibility and bulb longevity. Very pleased with this purchase.

      Q & A

does fit for Dyna Street Bob FXDBI 2006?

Hi. I would like to know if this piece fits for my bike. If not, what the correct piece is. Thanks
      Asked by: Victor39

Will this fit a 2017 FLTRU?

When I enter my motorcycle year and model into the web this part is not listed. If I go directly to this part on the web it lists my motorcycle. Which is correct? This years catalogue lists this as a fit, is this correct?
      Asked by: Deuser1

Will it fit an '06 FXDI?

Aren't the tail lights on the '06 Low and the '06 SuperGlide the same? Both have plates above the taillight. You would not change the lamp base in a model line in the same model year ... would you? Please tell me H-D is smarter than that.
      Asked by: Wordsmith
To answer my own question, yes it does. When you remove your OEM taillight, there will be a set of wires you have to unplug from the motorcycle. The kit has the same wires, which must be fully inserted (you will hear a click) into a blank plug in exactly the same order. Then the lamp will operate properly. Be sure to use the dielectric grease provided; tail lights get wet. If you work slowly and methodically, replacing your old taillight with this unit should take you about 15-20 minutes. If you have done it before, maybe five.

Why this is not listed for Road Glide Ultra

Why is it, Harley Davidson is not showing this fits the 2016 Road Glide Ultra? I find alot of items that are not listed for the Road Glide that fits the Ultra limited which is the very same bike on the back end. Come on you guys get this updated. If it wasn't for comparing these at the dealer, I would of skipped over buying this product and went with a Bright Ass light instead.

In the fitment tab, right on the top, at third line it says " ’09-later FLHRC, FLHTC, FLHTCU, FLHTK and FLTRU". It clearly fits FLTRU, but HD neglected to put this info with the each MY informantion.

      Plug and Play?

Is this plug and play on the 2016 FLSTF? Part # 67800355
      Asked by: Fire122
I would have to say no. It comes with a short jumper harness. One side has a socket that plugs into the new LED brake light. The other end of the harness has the pins already attached, but not the socket. I think it has two or three different sockets in the kit. Pick your type socket needed and insert the pins in the correct locations. Then it's plug-n-play. It's not real hard. Just follow the instructions that come with the kit.
