    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thumb’s up! I just installed these on a 2017 Ultra Limited and they get a thumb’s up. As others have noted, a vice grip and a small hex wrench make a useful tool combination to pull the socket assembly from the housing and for pushing the two terminal ends through the base of the socket. It all requires a little persistence (but the second one will be easier…). Removing the socket ground wire terminal is a little different story and requires the proper insertion of a paperclip end or pin to release it … alternatively , you can just clip the wire very close to the end of the installed terminal without removing the wire from the socket. I had to unbolt the turn signal housing from the mount to get enough stock wire slack to attach the supplied wire harness. The crimp splices work very well and are filled with dielectric grease to reduce the possibility of corrosion. They are designed to be used without stripping any of the wire’s insulation. Just clip off the stock wire terminals and what looks to be temporary “heat shrink” tubing on the ends of the supplied harness wires. Then insert two wires of the same color fully into the splice and crimp down with a pair of pliers. You will notice a little of that grease exude from the end of the splice during the process. The amber LED lights are very bright and I also replaced the stock amber lenses with the HD smoke lens. Looks and works and great so far.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from LED TURN SIGNALS ARE A "MUST HAVE" ITEM! I just finished installing these on my new Tri Glide and I would bet they'll be standard equipment on all Harleys in the next few years, just like the DayMaker headlamps. A few tricks for your install: To gut the internals, remove the bulb, use a small Allen wrench clenched in a vice grip and insert it into the hole at the lamp base. If the inside wires are too short to work with, disassemble the housing, run the supplied harness through the the bullet and mount, then affix the splices and tuck them into the mounting bracket. Make sure the wires are snipped cleanly, insert all the way into the button self-splicers, then carefully crimp the button until it's flat. Reassemble the mount, plug the harness into the LED, twist it a few times to take up slack, then push the clip into the mount. Turn on your ignition, hit the emergency flashers, let them blink 10 times and you're set! Hope this helps with this very necessary install! I recommend using clear lenses with these amber LED's...

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Lights I installed these lights on my 2015 Ultra Limited. The installation took me about 1 hour. It is not quite as simple as it appears. The most difficult part was trying to figure out how to get the guts of the stock turn signal light out. It will not come out with a hook or allen wrench from the front. I had to unscrew the bolt from the housing and use an allen wrench from the top to push the turn signal parts out. Once I figured this out it went pretty smooth. By having the housing loosened I was also able to pull a little more of the stock wiring down to have more wire to work with. A previous review mentioned a 180 degree bend in the wire while connecting the wires. This confused me a little bit until I got to that part. You will understand once you see it. I used a pair of forceps to lock to two wires together and shoved them into the crimper. Went very smoothly. The new LED insert is strange how it goes in but don't panic, you will figure that out also. Just doesn't seem like its supposed to fit but it does once you spin it a bit. The two metal prongs go inside the slot on the housing.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Install After both running lights burned out on my FLHTK I decided to convert these light to LED. After all, the turn signal is the only non-LED light on the front of the bike. I think the running light throws off more light then the incandescent light while the turn signal seems to be about the same brightness. I may come back on install a smoke or clear lens in the future. The job took about 20 - 25 minutes. Tools required are a small pick or allen wrench, pilers, wire snips and flash light. A couple tips on the install... First, you do not need to strip the wires, the included wire connectors are self splicing. I found removing the harness tubing included on the new lights gave you a little more room to install the connectors. It is not really needed on a short wire run. Finally, place the connector on the light side wire first and bend the wire back onto the connector (i.e. a 180 degree turn). This allows you to hold both the wire and connector in one hand. Simply slide the connector onto the short remaining wire inside the bullet housing. With a flashlight, you can verify both wires are fulling in the connector. This is a great add to the look of the bike.

    bcm / turn signal dashboard

    hi, after installation the led's work correctly, but the turn signal left or right are to fast; with hazard it works. i cleared the bcm error codes and do the bcm learning with 12 cycles ... the bcm show again: B2141 Left front turn signal output open B2146 Right front turn signal output open PLEASE, how the BCM learn on an FXBRS 2018 ?     Turn signals work correctly but the right side running light doesn't come on

    I installed the new Harley LED turn signals per the instruction sheet. First, I had issues with the left side running light not working. The turn signal worked, but the running light was out (dark). That corrected itself, but now the right side running light isn't working. Turn signals all work correctly as does the left side running light. Any suggestions on how to fix the right side running light so it comes on? Thanks, John

    Will these fit my 2009 CVO FLHTCUSE4? I saw these at a Harley Dealer and they look awesome but they did not have any in stock and said I needed to special order. They had a display with a Tail Light. I want both. They said they should fit. LOL I hope they are correct. Maybe I need to update my Bullet assemblies. I hate to modify a CVO very much and hope this will fit my existing Bullet lights

    BCM not reprogramming

    I just installed LED's lights like these on a 2014 xl883n Iron sportster. Instructions state that the BCM on the 2014s are supposed to learn and readjust to the new load of the LEDs without installing a load equalizer. I cleared the BCM codes and ran the hazards/ 4 ways for five minutes. Lights seem to work fine, but I still get hyper blink on indicator lights and still throwing BCM codes for open front turn signals. Cleared codes ran hazards again for 10 minutes, same outcome. Cleared codes and tried again with motorcycle actually running with same results. Am I missing something or am I programming the BCM wrong.

    Will these work in the rear bullet light housing?

    It looks at though these will insert into the rear bullets as well. However, remember these are amber LED lights. In most states the law requires red for clearance lighting (or lighting that remains on all the time). Amber is OK for turn signals Part # 67800640 is the red LED version of this light.
