This Stage IV Kit was developed to deliver maximum horsepower from the Milwaukee-Eight® engine - all the way to the redline. The system-matched combination of larger displacement cylinders, free flowing CNC-Ported cylinder heads and a cam with the highest available valve lift are the starting point to building the perfect engine for the performance junkie. The addition of the large 64mm bore throttle body and high-flow injectors provides great acceleration from first gear through sixth and exceptional response at the twist of the throttle. Designed for a high level of flexibility, this package is ideal for riders who want stump pulling torque throughout the rpm range and also crave plenty of arm-pulling acceleration when you whack the throttle. Kit includes CNC Ported Cylinder Heads with Performance Valve Springs, 64mm Throttle Body, High Flow Injectors (5.5g/s), 4.075" Bolt-On Cylinders, Forged 11:1 High Compression Aluminum Coated Pistons and Rings, SE8-515 Cam, Cam Bearing Upgrade, High Performance Tappets, Multi-layer Coated Head Gaskets, High Capacity Clutch Springs (1200N), High Capacity Clutch Disks and most necessary gaskets and seals.

Milwaukee-Eight Engine Stage IV Kit is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This upgrade has kept a smile on my face. I have not stopped smiling since I picked up my 2017 Ultra Limited after having the stage IV installed. From the moment that I first fired it up and heard the deep rich rumble to the last time I shut it down arriving back home, I can say that I am very happy that I made this decision. The power is just there all through the throttle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stage 4 results I just spent almost $6000 on the Stage IV kit, high airflow breather and high output mufflers. I was hoping to get around 120 hp after everything was installed by my local Harley dealer (up to 52% increase was advertised). Unfortunately my Dino only put me at 107 hp (that is only 34% increase). Although I am disappointed, it is much stronger and faster than it was before. In fact if you're not careful (close to redline) switching into second gear you can pull the front end slightly off the ground. I would love to hear other people's results, so please post them.

    Q & A

Does this not include adjustable pushrods??

    Asked by: FrankRizzo

What will be the new fuel consumption?

What would be the expected fuel consumption for stage IV kit?
    Asked by: BrockTR

What power train/drive train add ons are available for the 2018 roadglide cvo.

Specifically what parts can you add on to the 2018 roadglide cvo to enhance the performance that are NOT included in the package that is available to choose from in your catalog. I would like a list of all of the parts available.

    Stage IV

I purchased the stage iii before the stage iv came out. I was wondering if i have to get the whole stage iv kit or do i just need a few parts.
    Asked by: Gijoe76
I have a 2018 Ultra Limited and the Stage 4 kit on order at my local dealership. I will provide a detailed comparison below: I researched this thoroughly, and found the following: Very little is in common, actually. The stage 3 kit has a SE8-498 cam. The stage 4 uses the SE8-515 cam and includes a heavy-duty cam bearing. Both have the 4.075" bore 114 cubic inch displacement cylinders. The stage 4 kit includes Screaming Eagle CNC ported heads, the high flow 64mm throttle body, and larger injectors to supply the fuel and air demands of the stage 4 performance. The stage 4 kit includes a high capacity clutch kit that uses an additional plate to prevent clutch slippage. The stage 3 only provides higher capacity clutch springs. The valve lifters and valve springs are may be the same, but the stage 4 heads are already assembled with the high lift springs for the .515 lift cam. There are base, head, and cam cover gaskets, most of which you will be replacing if you change it over to stage 4 anyway. I added up the individual components of the stage 4 compared to the "kit" price, and the only parts you will have left, not used, (cylinders and pistons) are essentially free with the stage 4 kit package price. If you buy them separately, retail catalog price is around $4000 for the parts that are packaged as a kit for an advertised price of $2595, so it is cheaper to buy the stage 4 kit than it is to upgrade from stage 3 to stage 4 by buying individual parts. You already have performance exhaust and air filter, but those parts are not included in either kit. You may however like the SE8-498 cam better than the SE8-515 due to its greater bottom end. You may want to find someone with a stage 4 and ride it if you can. Stage 4 gives you great bragging rights and maximum power above 5000 rpm, but the stage 3 is a great running engine for touring. It makes the same 110 lb-ft of torque as the stage 4 and only adds the 10 horsepower gain over stage 3 above 5000 RPM. I guess the question is do you ride more between 3000 and 5000 RPM or do you ride your ultra limited between 5000 and 6500 RPM redline most of the time? Look at the dyno graphs for the two kits. I ordered mine because they don't sell a stage 5 or stage 6!
