Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mustach enhine guards Fitment and install was a breeze, looks good on my bike, only thing wrong the them was my long legs sitting up to high when cruising but that's no fault to the guards. I will be ordering highway pegs soon enough to compensate for my leg length. Thanks HD.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this product Hubby tried to get me to get an engine guard that you have to fold out the foot pegs on. I got my way and am very happy that I did. I love this, and its well built. went on really easy. love the ease of just setting your feet up, no foot pegs to unfold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Fit I bought this for a 2002 Fat-Boy FLSTFI and it fits just right. Easy to install and it looks good. I haven't tried the highway pegs yet, but they seem to be in the right place to relieve my feet and legs from the engine heat.

      Q & A

My wife has a 2015 CVO Softail. It came with the Mustache engine guards. Does Harley make soft lowers to fit?

      Asked by: photowolf523
Hi Photowolf523, Unfortunately, H-D Online does not have Soft Lowers for the Mustache Engine Guard. Thanks for the question.

Is this engine guard made for 9.5" or 10.75" mounting brackets?

I believe the standard mounting bracket is 9.5" but I have the 2008 anniversary edition and the mounting bracket is 10.75". Is this the engine guard I need or is there a different model?

Will this engine guard work with the fork lowers?

      Asked by: coopernicus
Since the engine guard mounts directly to the bike's frame, there shouldn't be any type of clearance issue with the forks.

      Leaning angle

My footboards occasionally scratch the ground when cornering. How much remaining leaning angle is left, when the footboard touch the ground? I am riding a Heritage Softail 2013.
