Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Deal All I really have to say . Is for what they cost . You really should include new air line fittings . I mean come on Harley ... Its a couple of extra bucks . Big deal . Help us out a little . No where during my purchase was it mentioned that i needed to reuse my old fittings . If I am putting on new shocks , Why in Heavens name would I put old air line fittings back on ? It might be a spot for a potential air leak right ??? Help us Out Harley , It won't kill ya !!!

What is the Shock length compared to stock?

I want to lower the suspension, but I don't want the rear tire to hit the wiring harness in the fender. This happened to a friend who lowered his rear suspension with lowering blocks. Are these shocks shorter than the stock rear shocks? If so, how much shorter? Will I have to move the wiring in the rear fender to use these shocks?

Will 54661-02A adjustable rear shocks (on my 2006 FLTRI) work on my 2016 FLTRU? Is "revalving" the only difference?

Should I use the air chart for a 2008 FLHX after installing these on a 2004 EGS

I have a 2004 electra glide standard with these shocks on it. I am wondering if I should still be using the 35 psi max listed in the manual for the bike, or the 50 psi max listed in, for example, the 2008 street glide, which it looks like comes with this shock from the factory.

Can I switch to a 54565-97A shock on my 2002 FLHTCUI

My shocks on my 2002 FLHTCUI are starting to bottom out. I have a chance to purchase a set of 54565-97A shocks that only have 400 miles on them. Will these shocks work/fit on my bike. If so will it still have a smooth ride.
      Asked by: TopRat52
Hello TopRat52, Yes, these shocks will fit on your bike. They will lower your seat height approximately 3/4" though. Thank you!
