Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I installed this on my 2016 Iron XL883 with no problems. Installed easily and looks great. The instructions indicate that you may need to relocate the clutch cable and brake/throttle cables but for the Iron i didn't have to rearrange anything. Can't believe what a huge difference it makes when riding. I would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Shield Great quality windshield. Took 5 minutes to fit hardware and put on my 2008 Sportster 1200 Custom. Gives great wind protection for its size, glad I didn't get larger size. Only one thing - You think you could have put a Harley emblem on the middle of the frame instead of nothing? Anyone looking at it might think it is a non-Harley product! There are emblems on the fork clamps, but they are not visible. Come-on, where's your Harley Pride?

    Q & A

Will it for for a 6 feet tall person?

I'm on a '10 883 Iron and Want to use this for long highway rides. Just curious if it's going to cover my head, or am I going to keep fighting the wind with my helmet and/or buffet? I'm 6 feet tall, so if someone tall could chime in... Thanks!

Is the windshield adjustable at all? I am worried teh 14 in is too small and the 18 in may be to tall

    Asked by: cheftmike
Hey cheftmike, No go on adjustability for this windshield, unfortunately. I recommend working with your local dealership, to test out the 14" and the 18", to see which one would be more comfortable for you.

Does it need to be bent to attach the clamps to the forks?

I have a 2007 xl 1200c and have to force the clamps inwards on whichever side I attach second, they are about 2 inches off before bending the shield. I want to make sure I'm not going to damage anything.
    Asked by: Wes39
Hello Wes39, The windshield should not have to be bent to mount on your bike. It should slide into place easily. If you purchased it online, please contact customer service at 800-258-2464 for assistance in returning the item. If you purchased it from a dealer, please contact them for assistance. Thank You!

Can I buy replacement glass without hardware?

I love this windshield but a tip over cracked my glass so I don't need the hardware.
    Asked by: Ryno29
Hello Ryno29, Unfortunately, we do not offer a replacement windshied for this kit separately. You would need to purchase a complete kit. Thank You!

    Best windshield for my sportster

Just bought my first Harley. Man, I wish I would've done it 10 years ago. Haha. It's a 2005 sportster 1200. Would this be a good pick? Or something else? Quick-Release Compact Windshield-58063-04. I'm 5'8 if that helps. Like the detach feature since around town I won't use it but I want to travel and figured it would help a lot on the freeway. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
