Road Glide Wind Deflector Kit is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quiets down the ride It does make a little difference in the "amount" of air flow, however, it really makes a big difference to quiet down the ride. It makes the longer rides easier due to less wind noise. Overall a nice product, and it couldn't be easier to install. The reason I give it 4 and not 5 stars is due to the price for these deflectors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They do make a marked improvement in lower end air flow First let me state that the 15+ Road Glides with the redesigned fairing don't have much of a buffeting issue once you put a decent windshield on them. I know what buffeting is from previous bikes and this bike off the show room floor pretty much eliminates it. I would also like to say that your never going to eliminate thrashing air all together. We all know what its like riding in a heavy crosswind. To test i drove into a head wind and then back with a tailwind. In clean air either way there is in fact a noticeable clean up of the air coming around the tank. I ride legs extended alot and i get about half the air running up my legs since installing these deflectors. Installation is easy once you figure it out. Having to do it the second time i could do in 20 seconds. Like one reviewer stated these should come stock on 15+ Road Glides. They make a noticeable improvement and for $40.00 its a no brainer upgrade. I'm certain the 15+ Rushmore Road Glide is the best aero package the MOCO makes. These were just icing on the cake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easily installed Subtle but positive change in airflow. Very easy to install

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy install, outstanding impact clips right on the crash bars and engine mount. installed in a couple of minutes. impact wise these make a big difference. the air is redirected around the rider and no longer towards the rider. in combination with a Clock Werks windshield, this is the answer to head buffeting.

    Q & A

Wind deflector and chopped engine guard

Will this fit on my chopped engine guard system on my 2017 RGS?
    Asked by: 2015switchbackCT
yes it will. the wind deflector snaps on to the part of the engine guard which is closest to the mounting point at the frame and the mount area is comparable to the standard engine guard.

    Heat with 2016 RG special

Will the center heat deflector add heat to the motor . Noticed no option for cooling fan for the 16 rglide but you do for the new bike . Do I have a worry with engine wear of 2016 RG special . I would love the less buffeting , I don't have lowers but I'm not interested in raising heat and engine temp as a trade off . What do u suggest. I did add a klockwerks shield too.
    Asked by: Razz
i have not noticed a significant heat increase. the way the deflectors are build is that the wind that is normally flowing undirected upwards is channeled properly. the engine cooling 'should' not be impacted at all (in comparison to the wind deflectors for the FL models).

    Excessive Heat Generator?

Saw a post that said these in conjunction with lower fairings would cause engine to develop excessive heat. I have them installed on my 2016 Road Glide Ultra which is Twin Cooled. Is heating with these in place a real issue?
    Asked by: SteveAReno
Hi SteveAReno, I would advise using one or the other as your bike does need some air/wind to filter through. Preventing any wind will cause excessive heat; in general. Hope this helps!

Can these be used with soft lowers, or are they a unnecessary addition

2015 Road Glide Special, soft lowers
    Asked by: drleo
I would not put soft lowers on a Road Glide Special. You can but its actually worth $600 to get the hard touring lowers. It also does not look right.
