Rated 5 out of 5 by from One LOUD Smart Siren !! Already had the Smart Security System on my bike but never had the Siren added so I picked one up at my Harley Dealer . . . Easy (but a little tight on space) installation and when you set it off to test, you better close your ears!! Instructions were a bit much so just use some common sense when installing it. On the 14 Softail Deluxe, the Siren mounts behind the mud guard of the back tire. Simply pull down the mud flap, connect the Siren and install it in the slot made for the siren . . . It is that easy. 20 minute job! I highly recommend this addition if you want some "Scare away" piece of mind when you pick is parked!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Installation was a breeze I purchased this two days ago, brought it home and had it installed within 30 minutes. It took more time to take off the saddle bag, side cover, and seat than it did to install. It was only necessary to take off the seat in order to get the antenna situated properly. As for the alarm itself, there is a specific place for the siren to go, when you first start to put it in place it seems like it won't fit, but (and it will feel like you shouldn't do this) just force it into place - it really does fit's just a tight fit. It chirps twice, within a few seconds of turning off the ignition, and chirps once when it disarms, after you turn the ignition to on. Just keep in mind, this is a motion sensor, it won't chirp a warning if someone is opening a saddle bag, etc., only if there is motion, such as pulling the bike upright. The warning chirps are obvious, and while the alarm is quite loud when you are near it, I set it off and went in the house and, although I could hear it there, it wasn't exceedingly loud inside the house. I think I will be purchasing the remote receiver for this. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was that I would like for it to be just a little louder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CHIRPING The chirping of the siren is not very bothersome compared to the horn beeping on cars in parking lots. I don't know how well this will work to deter theft of a Tri-Glide.

    Q & A

Does it work with the Smart Security system from this website, or does it only work on bikes that had the system installed at the factory?

    Asked by: MTSU

    Alarm sensitivity

Is there anyway to adjust the sensitivity on this alarm. I installed it but I can literally get on the bike and roll it with out the alarm going off. It will chirp every so often but that's it. I can shake the bike and it won't chirp either. This was installed on 2017 street glide special
    Asked by: Streetglide17
There is not a sensitivity setting. If you do not have your fob, the bike will chirp when you level the bike straight up and then go off like an alarm if you don't put it back on the jiffy stand pretty soon. If you have the fob on you it shouldn't chirp or display any other alarms.

Is the siren II compatible with the older version of the Pager Receiver

Is the older (Big Square Box) Harley Pager compatible to be paired or programmed to the Smart Siren II? Or do you have to use the newer Pager Receiver for that function?
    Asked by: kocheese

Will the siren go off if the ignition is turned on without the fob present?

    Asked by: Bob52
The siren will not go off when ignition is turn on with out the FOB. But when you shake the bike with the ignition key on, the siren will go off and you need the FOB shut off the alarm.
