I’m Not bitter - On-Going BLACKED-OUT ADDICTION look.
Purchased my 2017 Street Glide Special in January 2017 and have spent cash-ola over that last 8 months blacking it out AND sending in photos on my reviews. HD Marketing Department said “cha-ching let’s do the new 2018 Street Glide Special in what? Surprise! All blacked-out !” Anyway not bitter and HD Marketing is very wise and listening to the people; which is good. I had this installed on my 2017 Street Glide Special and it looks great! I’m not mechanically inclined so I had these installed by the professional service department at Smokey Mountain Harley-Davidson in Maryville, Tennessee and they did a fantastic job: as always. Highly recommend and thank you!

A more reasonable review
I wonder how many people have hesitated to buy this piece because of the 1-star review. Yes, it is glass black--just as shown in the picture--and cannot be powder coated. Regardless, it was an easy swap from the chrome button that was stock on my FLTRXS. The dude's shades of black don't match so he 1-stars the thing. Eye roll. If you are looking to swap chrome for blacked out, then buy it without hesitation.

Button should be metal
This fuel door button is plastic, and cannot be powder-coated. I own a Denim Black Road Glide, and I powder-coated the glossy black fuel door to match the bike. But the fuel door button is still glossy. Looks odd.
