Rated 5 out of 5 by from WORLD OF A DIFFERENCE I have a 883R and have installed vance pipes and then converted mids to these forward controls. Really makes the bike a lot more enjoyable to ride instead of feeling like youre on a sport bike. feels more the cruiser style. i recommend these to anyone that wants to convert from mid controls to forward controls.

      Q & A

How can I get replacement parts for a Sportster forward control kit?

The Sportster I am buying was crashed and the RH machine motor mount was broken off. Where can I get a new one without having to buy the whole kit?
      Asked by: 13013Btt
Hi 13013Btt, If you look at the "Sportster Forward Foot Controls Instruction Sheet" link, under the "More Info" tab, you will see that the part number for the RH machine motor mount is 16294-99. You can purchase this part through your local Harley-Davidson dealership. Thank you for your question.

      Vance and Hines Shortshots

Will these foot controls work with the Vance and Hines shortshots exhaust system? (2003 Harley Sportster 1200S)
      Asked by: ATM983
Hello ATM983, We can not advise if this kit will work with that exhaust system. We do not test component fitments with aftermarket parts. Please contact your local dealer to see if they have tried this combination in the past. Thank You!

      spare parts???

i bought a new 2001-1200c with pt 33892-98 installed on it. the rear brake foot lever is bent & broken, How do i replace without paying for a new kit.
      Asked by: teddydog65
Hey teddydog65, The rear brake lever service part may be available to order through the dealer. Stop by your local dealer and have a chat with them and they can further assist you. If you check out the installation instructions on the "more info" tab, you will see the breakdown of the kit and can identify the pieces you need. The dealer can give you a hand from there. Another option would be to check out a new custom rear break lever.
