Sundowner Solo Seat is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sundowner Sundowner seat looks like your stock seat, but has wider & taller crown. Overall great seat. A must if you do the passenger sundowner pavillion to eliminate the small space between the two.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement About 2-3 inch differences from stock Breakout seat, nut enough to make all the difference. Got about 100 miles on this new saddle, very comfortable.

    Q & A

    Instruction sheet?

Please can you provide an instruction sheet for this seat. There is one online for the Sundowner Pillion, but not for the riders solo seat. Please upload. Thank you.

Seat REACH for the rider same or different than stock?

I have a "Reach seat" for my 2014 Breakout, but now also need to provide a more comfortable seat for my PASSENGER. The Sundowner passenger seat, which would be more comfortable for the passenger, will not look right with the stock seat OR the "Reach" seat that I have - it will leave exposed the points that secure the passenger seat to the rider seat. The Sundowner passenger seat has to be used with the Sundowner rider seat to look right. So, does the Sundowner rider seat position the rider same, or differently, than the stock Breakout seat? Specifically, is the REACH to the bars the same as the stock seta, or different? Jim G

I have the 2013.5 non-CVO Breakout. Is the Sundowner Solo seat that much more comfortable then the stock seat?

Last Friday I did a 300 mile ride and the stock seat got a little uncomfortable. I am looking for a replacement seat that provides more comfort for when I take longer rides. Based on the catalog picture, the Sundowner Solo seat does not appear much different then my stock seat; does it really provide more comfort then the stock seat? Thank you

The person who claims this is the same seat is misinformed and mistaken. I have both the stock BO and Sundowner seats and the Sundowner is for sure a different seat and part #. I don't know about the CVO seat but this is a very comfortable seat, its wider and more heavily padded than the stock BO seat. Also does put you a little closer to the bars so if reach is an issue then this seat may help you with that.
