      Note

It is possible to overload your motorcycle's charging system by adding too many electrical accessories. If your combined electrical accessories operating at any one time consume more electrical current than your vehicle's charging system can produce, the electrical consumption can discharge the battery and cause vehicle electrical system damage. Ask your dealer for advice about the amount of current consumed by electrical accessories.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy to have I bought this item because I wanted (or needed! LOL) an extra power outlet on my 2010 Ultra. The stock one in the fairing was being used to keep my I-pod going on long trips and since I don't use the phone while I ride (illegal anyway in most areas I know), I put it in the Tour-pak to charge between stops. It works great. The only Issue I had with the kit was the screws were not long enough. I had to get slightly longer screws to mount it through the liner. I did not cut a huge whole in the liner as described in the instructions. I just made holes for the bolts to go through and for the wire at the bottom. Also, speaking of the wire, it plugged right in, but was hard to tuck away and get the liner to sit flat again. I did eventually get it though. A little pricey, but it was helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Every long distance rider should have one. Just finished a 3200 mile round trip. My phone would drain down when I was out riding when someone called or text. Put this on the bike before I left on this last trip. When I got a flat in Savannah, GA., I pulled the phone fron the trunk and had a fully charged battery to call for help. A tour pack power port is a key addition to anyone who likes to travel.

      Q & A

Will this work on a Electra Glide Ultra Limited 2010 FLHTK?

does not show FLHTK in fitment
      Asked by: lmayle

      Which power source is used?

Does this outlet run off of a remote power source, or a constant source? I wouldn't want the battery to drain if I leave something plugged in.
      Asked by: jpalm
With the tour-pak aux. port, the power outlet is connected to the accessory switch and will operate only when the switch is ON.
