Tour-Pak Quick Disconnect Harness is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst instructions ever Wow ! I bought the detachable tour pak kit and the harness. I did cost me 1000$ cdn. I expected better instruction than what i got in the boxes. There should be longer wires so everything can connect under the seat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This kit is incomplete Does not include everything needed and the harness is too short, better to just make your own wiring disconnects buy cutting wires under seat with conectors. If you want antennas this is the only value of this kit

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Incomplete kit This kit ignores the fact that the FLHTK comes stock with a 12v charging port in the Tour Pak. There is no connection for it in this or any other quick disconnect harness kit that HD sells. Also, HD ignores the fact that they sell an internal LED lighting kit for the Tour Pak. There is no provision made in any kit offered by HD for hooking that up in a quick disconnect either. They also designed the harness incorrectly. It is 10 inches long. That puts it right under the part of the passenger seat with the least clearance between the fender. It really should be more like 18 inches so that it can reach further forward where there is more room under the seat to stow connectors without damaging the paint on the fender. I didn't even use this kit. It sits on a shelf in my garage. I made my own harness so that I could hook up ALL of my HD accessories. I use the hidden AM/FM/WB antenna so I don't need that part of the kit, and I only use the CB when the Tour Pak is installed so I don't use that part of the kit either. Just used a 24" extender cable I bought from a local CB shop. This kit was a complete waste of money for me. If all you want is your running/brake lights it's fine. But I really need to be able to charge my phone while I'm riding.

    Q & A

the quick disconnect harness comes with a CB Antenna relocation, what about the FM Antenna relocation

    Asked by: BigSam
Ok BigSam, here's the lowdown. You will need the Detachable Tour-Pak Harness Kit for Ultra Models, P/N 70032-09, and the Detachable Tour-Pak Kit, P/N 53246-09A, in order to relocate both antennas.

Could I use the antenna relocation kit for relocating antennas under the fairing instead?

If so, do you sell the remaining parts needed as a sub kit?
    Asked by: Ricky
Hey Ricky! It is best to use the Tour-Pak Quick Disconnect as directed. This part is only to be used as a CB Antenna base and bracket mounting to fender. Any other use is not recommended. You can contact your dealership for further instructions. Thanks.
