Premium Tour-Pak Luggage Rack Bag is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tour pack bag Bought this bag last year, used it 3 times and the Velcro on the straps to tie it down broke. Poor quality for $200

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Used mine three years and about 28,000 miles I have three years of touring on this bag and left it home this year as I have downsized my gear. The bag shows quite a bit of fading on the trim fabric to the point that it is more purple than black, the top looks wrinkled from getting wet and the plastic in the bottom is all cracked up. I use a waterproof stuff sack in it to keep my gear dry. I recommend it for a bag that will be replaced as needed. It still works fine but looks rough. Waterproof baggage is required if you want to keep stuff dry in it. I did not use the external bag which could prevent some water getting in if it's not raining much. The three trips I am referring to total around 60 days of exposure to the elements on my 2013 Ultra Limited. If I needed the space and was very particular about the looks I would just get a new one every year or two.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Bag This is a terrific bag. I do a lot of touring and I've been cramming everything into the trunk & saddlebags. I just bought this bag & took it on a 5,000 mile ride. It was a real treat having the extra space. I was able to pack 2 days worth of clothes in this bag along with the other often used items and only had to take this bag off the bike each day. Every couple days we'd switch clothes from the saddlebags to this bag. We were able to cut out laundry days in 1/2 and had plenty of room for the extra things we always seem to acquire on the road. I've seen the comments about the water proofing and the plastic cracking. I rode for an hour in heavy rain and forgot to put the rain gear on the bag. everything was perfectly dry even without the rain gear. I don't plan on pushing my luck, but it was a nice surprise. As for the plastic, my luggage has black plastic; the ones in the pictures had white plastic. So perhaps H-D listened and reacted. Too early for me to comment on that. All in all. very happy I bought this bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bag We bought this for our trip from Arkansas to South Dakota and Wyoming. My wife loved it before we ever got started, she loved how much it will hold. I like the way it attaches to the rack, very secure, in 2600 miles and 6 days we had no problems with it. On our 2nd day we woke up to rain, so we used the rain cover for about half a day, it kept everything bone dry. Great bag, thanks.

    Q & A

    Rain cover excess material

Just purchased this for my trip to Sturgis this year and trying to figure out the rain cover installation, as there appears to be excess material at the opening that remains loose and I fear that it will vibrate in the wind and damage the paint on my tour pak. I installed the bag onto my luggage rack after figuring out the instructions were wrong as it stated to clip the strap end to the D ring, yet there was no clip, but after figuring that out I placed the rain cover over the top of the bag and I had to go around the rack as well since it does not look like you can cover the rack bag first and then clip to the retaining straps since there are no openings for the straps. How is this supposed to fit without damaging my tour pak lid from the rain cover flapping in the wind?

    How big inside?

Would a full face helmet fit inside this bag?
    Asked by: mveld67
It will not hold a Full face helmet. I use mine for luggage and can pack a weeks worth of clothes, my tablet, light snacks and toiletries. This frees up my Tour pack for helmet and extra weather gear.

how much does this bag weight .

    Asked by: Bearmtn11
It's very light 1lb ... works fine for awhile, had to exchange for a new one because the outside material separated from the shell on top. If you do get one add a 1/8 sheet of rubber under the bottom to save the bottom shell from cracking due to stress ... I keep the rubber in place with Velcro strips and use their clips. I will get someone to make the same one out of leather when this on takes a crap
